Mephisto is a Black Metal band hailing from the US. The beginnings of Mephisto lay in August, 2003. Valafar had just left Midnight Mass when he received a call from Astaroth, who was responding to Valafar’s ad for a Black Metal drummer. Valafar soon went to hear Astaroth play and was blown away by his abilities as a drummer. After a few practices, Astaroth invited his friend, Rahovart, over to play bass, and thus, the core of Mephisto was born.
