"Spotlight" is a song by American music producer and DJ Marshmello and American rapper and singer-songwriter Lil Peep. It was released on January 12, 2018, as a tribute to Peep following his death on November 15th, 2017. Marshmello initially had no plans of releasing the song until Peep's mother made a request. The song is the rapper's first posthumous release.
