The story starts in 1991 when Chris Weaver and Steve Bott met each other through a mutual friend. After a few drinks a band was formed! This early band had various names, and changes of personnel, but eventually “The Cherry Pickers” was settled on. This band originally had Chris on rhythm guitar and vocals, Steve on bass guitar, with Mark Ward on lead guitar and Chris Bott on lead vocals.
