Magneton was a Hungarian-Romanian (2 ethnic Hungarian and 3 ethnic Romanian members) pop/rock band from Oradea/Nagyvárad, Romania.

They had two releases on vinyl in the communist era: "Jó fiú leszek" ("I'm Gonne Be a Good Boy"), with Hungarian lyrics, apparently recorded in 1971, released in 1985 and and "Rock express", with Romanian lyrics, released in 1983.
