Hailing from Longford, Ireland, this duo have crafted eerie musical tales from crashing sheet metal, accordion textures, harmonica and buzzing, furious sounds. The album that has been born from a hotch-potch, gradual process
is Botched Fairytale. With the kind of elegant yet melodically meandering
voices that bring to mind the incredible female trio Rings, this warped, hazy and abrasive yet seductively beautiful music has a sound in common with Vivian Girls and Warpaint but a style that belies singer songwriter roots. Less a band and more an unhinged vehicle for some incredible ideas, this is exceedingly exciting stuff.
