Luis Vasquez (May 30, 1979 – January 18, 2024) is The Soft Moon. And the other way around.
He is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and producer from Oakland, California. While his primary musical output has been described as an amalgam of post-punk, darkwave, minimal wave and industrial rock, sonic endeavors released under his real name are of more atmospheric soundtrack nature.
