LCP has built-up a musical concept named cool groove, described as a mix of a very adult style music, deeply imbued with soul, and with lyrics in both English and Japanese. Lost Color People was founded in 1999, in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. The band initially got itself known through fully instrumental music pieces, used as promotional jingles for radio channels or on 'idol' DVD.
