It had been rumored that "Homemade Dynamite" would be released as Melodrama's third single, with Lorde tweeting out "******** ******** ***** coming soon!" on her Instagram, with a photo of Khalid. People speculated this to hint to a video or remix of Homemade Dynamite. These rumors were further commented on when she danced to "Homemade Dynamite" at the MTV VMAs.
On September 13th, Lorde tweeted out "Tomorrow 🎈" with the remix's cover.
