After 10 years in the making,local Sydney funk rocker's Lizard, have finally completed their first full length debut album called If a …but a … did I? . Hailing from the Hawkesbury the band was formed by bassist Jason "widebelly" Dowse and guitarist/singer/tree lopper/& brother in law Matt Charnley.with a vision to fuse the blues of Hendrix with the power of rage against the machine the pair embarked on a mission to recruit the right combination to complete the lineup.
After several lineup changes,new haircut's,& fresh grooves the pair decided to expand & settled with ex N.R.N.R. guitarist rob chapple and began working on what would become "iforbuttadideye. 2 of the bands songs have been picked up for a new t.v. series on sbs called "swift and shift couriers",the show is made by the guy's that brought you fat pizza and premiers on the 27th of october.with new/old drummer Matt Reynolds in tow the band has hit the road to promote their debut slab and will be coming to a theatre near you !

LIZARD has a variety of influences. They intrigate Crimsonian influences with a spirit skin to that of their compatriots in COLLAGE. The vocals have a neo prog influence while the instrumental parts have an emphasis on the individual player's skill. The musicianship is intricate with complicated band interplay.
3. A punk, new wave band from Tokyo, Japan (see also リザード).
In 1979, LIZARD released the debut album with Punk sound using synths produced by Jean Jacques Burnel in Stranglers. Momoyo, a leader of the band, is the free producer of Japanese Rock scene.
He was 17 years old. Momoyo formed the first band, named 'Electric Moth'. In 1973, They changed the name "Red Lizard". In 1978, Momo met JJ from the Stranglers, he invited us to LONDON, 1979 summer. They changed the name to "LIZARD" and went to LONDON. At that time, they had the recording for first album and have some gigs in the UK. The next year, 1980, Lizard produced their second album in 'BABYLON ROCKER'. Followed by their 3rd album'GYMNOPEDIA' Neuromantic Album a year later.
Lizard dissolved once. 1982-1987 'LIZARD' Momo worked as a project under same name.It was not a band any longer. And Momoyo was going down the underground. And Now, The Project has been reborn as the AI program in BABYLONIC STUDIO. Latest work is the sound track of 'Alexander' an animation film made in the Republic of Korea. At same time Momoyo is working as the producer of i-wave.net, i-wave.com, the next coming dual music-sites for EAST, Hongkong, Macao, Singapore, Tokyo.
4. An Australian progressive rock band which released one album in 1973 entitled "Bad Companions". The band was composed of :

They have been around for more than 15 years, released several albums, and toured extensively with bands like Molly Hatchet, Doc Holliday, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Golden Earring, Wishbone Ash, the Kinks, and the Little River Band.
