'Notorious KIM: The Lost Tapes' (1999) is the first version of the album 'The Notorious K.I.M.' which was discarted, re-recorded and released in 2000. When Kim was recording the songs for her second album, Notorious B.I.G. passed away, which made her totally change the theme of the album, with new lyrics and flow.
What would Kim's second album supposedly be called 'Resurrection' and would have the participation of greatest pop artists such as Christina Aguilera and RuPaul. 'Queen Bitch, Pt. 2' and 'How Many Licks' were already listed for the album's tracklist, the second one that would lead The Neptune's participation.
The album that until then was fully ready and just waiting for the release, was replanned by Kim, and so would be born 'The Notorious K.I.M.', an album dedicated in memory of Christopher George Latore Wallace.
To this day it is still possible to find some demos tracks of what would be the original work that Lil' Kim intended to release. There are 10 very cohesive songs, but you still see a lot of 'Resurrection' in 'The Notorious K.I.M.'.
The tracklist:

2. Diamonds
