The Déjean brothers are masters in their domain; Fred Déjean (sax alto, tenor) and Andre Déjean (trumpet, trombone) horns are marvelous to hear, along with Camillle Déjean (percussion), Phillippe Déjean (percussion, congas); Les Freres Déjean is one of the rare Haitian bands with their own genius signature sound. The group emerged from the late 60's/early 70's period and produced several classic konpa albums, if not some best konpa albums of all time.
