Jesse, the band leader and founder of Leftstronger is 24 years old and perfomed many times within the Baltimore music scene, including headlining at Rams Head Live, Recher, Fletchers and many more. Voted best vocalist in the Region by his peers. Said by many, his voice is often compared to Chris Cornell of Sound Garden and Audio Slave, Layne Staley of Alice In Chains, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and Scot Stapp of Creed. Jesse with his bandmate and Guitarist Rob, this past April, opened the Green Apple Festival in DC on the National Mall with an awesome rendition of America the Beautiful (largest Earth Day event in the Nation-over 100,000 attendees!), Jesse is a true fan of the Seattle grunge scene. His music has his grunge idol influences, plus a bluesy hard rock flavor.
The songs he originally wrote Can It Be, So Close and Reborn and many others are now being performed by Leftstronger at many excellent venues in Baltimore and DC. Leftstronger has released their full length 12 track debut CD entitled "So Close". Jesse's extremely talented band mates include Rob, who is the most amazing guitarist in Baltimore, Spencer-best bass player and Eric Steven on drums- a very talented talented drummer, who in 2008 was nominated by the Baltimore Rock Review as the best rock drummer in the area!
Jesse, Rob, Spencer and Eric are experienced and multi-faceted musicians that pull the band together and knock the socks off Marylanders. LeftStronger is soon to tour the East Coast. Leftstronger's lyrics and original music always rocks the crowd to their core! Jesse writes very catchy songs with lots of hooks.
In addition to Jesse's role as lead singer/song writer, he is an accomplished drummer with over 14 years of experience and professional drum instructor in Eldersburg, Maryland. He has accomplished all this and more despite personal challenges of being legally blind and having cerebral palsy on his right side. His talent speaks for itself and nothing will stand in his way of his success and being a role model for others.
