Where I'm from, winter is just lots and lots of cold, grey rain. This song always transports me downtown on a winter evening (like Granville or Main Street for me). Beautiful, but a sense of isolation, muffling, and fatigue due to all that rain and urbanization.

According to the interview posted by InZa, “Neon”, without the dot and with a capital ‘N’, is correct. I think, however, that after being asked this question, Herbst may have changed it to “.neon” for the track listing on the album – or Prophecy Productions may have assumed that to be the real title to go along the album’s name. Being an instrumental, its name does not appear in the booklet, either. Without further proof, we will probably never know for sure.
