La:Sadie's was visual rock band from Osaka, Japan, formed in January 1996 by (Kyo), Kisaki, Die, Shinya and 紫緒 (Shio) who was soon replaced by KAORU.

Vocal: 京 (ex. 月蝕 → Visun → Masquerade廃人黒薔薇族)
Guitar: Die (ex. Ka・za・ri)
Guitar: KAORU (ex. Die:Steria → CHARM)
Bass: Kisaki (ex. Levia → LAYBIAL → SHËY≠DË → GARDEN → STELLA MARIA廃人黒薔薇族)
Drums: Shinya (ex. Siva → Ruby → 廃人黒薔薇族)
Ex-Guitar: 紫緒 (ex. SHËY≠DË → Fistiv Eye's → na:rsǝs)

After the disbandment of Masquerade in 1995, ex-members 京 and Seine met Kisaki and #4 from STELLA MARIA in September to form a session band called 廃人黒薔薇族. They first recruited drummer 葵 (Aoi, ex. PLÈ,SÚRE) but he was soon replaced by Shinya whom Kisaki knew from the band Ruby, where he played bass as a support member. Under this lineup they played a few lives in the Osaka area until they broke up and Kisaki decided to leave his main band STELLA MARIA to form a new band with currently bandless 京 and Shinya. Kisaki recruited two guitarists, 紫緒 who was his old band mate from SHËY≠DË and Die (ex. Ka・za・ri). With this lineup La:Sadie's officially formed in January 1996. In March 紫緒 had left the band and was replaced by CHARM guitarist KAORU. During their touring in Nagano, Japan, the members had met Toshiya who was the bassist of the band D†L, and at that time had become good friends. La:Sadie's officially disbanded on January 15, 1997, and KISAKI then formed the band MIRAGE. It's been rumored the break-up was due to KISAKI's unwillingness to participate in the major label ambitions of the rest of the band.

After KISAKI had left the band, the remaining members still wished to continue but were without a bassist. 薫 became the leader of the band and they had eventually asked Toshiya, then the bassist of D†L, to join their band. He accepted and left D†L. After they played one live on January 24, covering "a certain band's songs", they took on the name Dir en grey and officially formed their new band on February 2, 1997, in Osaka, Japan. Ex-bassist KISAKI has since become a fixture of the indies visual rock scene in Japan, presiding over the labels Matina and presently UNDER-CODE, last active as a musician as bassist of Phantasmagoria.
