La Mississippi is one of the oldest and most prestigious bands of Argentinan Rock. The band was formed in Florencio Varela, a small town on the south side of Buenos Aires, with the idea of recreating blues' classics. They debuted in 1998.
Their recognition goes as far as being chosen as opening acts for Albert Collins, John Mayall, BB King, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Koko Taylor, etc.
