And now I have finally catched up my daily countdown, so this time it's actually just one song for the day!
Day 96, (shared) 269. position: Korn - Good God (from the album Life Is Peachy)
I really got into KoRn with Untouchables. Then I opened up to Issues and Follow the Leader.
It took a little time before I got my hands on KoRn's first albums, KoRn and Life is Peachy. Oh boy, they were quite something else...
The raw sound and production of Ross Robinson and pure rage of Jonathan Davis takes you by the balls and doesn't let go until you have listened through the whole album. And when you talk about Davis it is rage, not angst. This shit is heavier than any church-burning black metal stuff. Yeah, go ahead and paint your face and sing about Satan. It's nothing compared to Jonathan Davis screaming his guts out about child abuse and molestation.
