Kiss of Life (키스오브라이프), sometimes shortened as KIOF, are a South Korean girl group formed by S2 Entertainment in 2023. The group consists of four members: Julie (쥴리), Natty (나띠), Belle (벨), and Haneul (하늘), and debuted on July 5, 2023, with the EP Kiss of Life. According to S2 Entertainment, the group's name reflects their mission to "breathe new life into the music industry," with concepts focusing on stages of life, especially adolescence and young adulthood.
Several members of Kiss of Life had prior industry experience. Belle, the daughter of veteran Korean singer Shim Shin, previously worked as a songwriter at SM Entertainment. Natty, originally from Thailand, competed on the South Korean reality shows Sixteen and Idol School, narrowly missing final spots in Twice and fromis_9, respectively, before debuting as a solo artist with the single Nineteen in 2020. Julie trained under YG Entertainment's sub-label, The Black Label, from 2017 to 2020.
On July 12, 2022, Natty signed an exclusive contract with S2 Entertainment. Later that year, a British documentary featuring Natty, Julie, Belle, and other trainees sparked speculation about a new girl group under S2 Entertainment. In December, the agency confirmed they were preparing a group set to debut in 2023. By early 2023, social media accounts under the name "Kiss of Life" were launched, and the group was officially introduced through teaser content released on S2's channels, with Natty revealed as the first member on May 15, followed by Belle, Julie, and Haneul.
Kiss of Life’s debut included individual music videos for each member’s solo track on the Kiss of Life EP, culminating in the release of the lead single "Shhh" and a showcase in Seoul on July 5, 2023. The following months saw the group expand their discography, with the release of their second EP Born to Be XX on November 8, 2023, featuring lead singles "Bad News" and "Nobody Knows."
In 2024, the group continued to gain traction with the single Midas Touch on April 3, followed by the summer single "Sticky" on July 1. In collaboration with Riot Games, they released "Superpower" for the Valorant Champions tournament, which Natty and Julie performed live alongside Got7’s Mark Tuan during the tournament finals in Seoul in August.
On August 26, 2024, Kiss of Life announced their first world tour, "Kiss Road," with scheduled shows in South Korea, the United States, and Canada from October to December. Their third EP, Lose Yourself, was released on October 15, featuring the title track "Get Loud" and the pre-release single "R.E.M." The tour’s opening in Seoul on October 26 and 27 at Olympic Hall featured a new unreleased track titled "Winehouse."

2) Kiss of Life were a British music duo formed in 1991, consisting of keyboardist and composer Mike Benn and vocalist Victoria Maxwell, later replaced by vocalist Angela John. Known for blending jazz, soul, RnB, and electronic elements, the group was associated with the emerging acid jazz and downtempo scenes of the 1990s. Their debut album, Reaching for the Sun, was released in 1993 with Virgin Records. It featured Victoria Maxwell on lead vocals and collaborations with musicians including bassist Winston Blisset and saxophonist Nigel Hitchcock, with notable contributions from Paul Weller on the track "Fiction in My Mind." The album included singles like "Love Has Put a Spell on Me" and "Holding on to a Dream".
In 1996, Kiss of Life released their second album, Breathe, which marked Angela John's debut as lead vocalist. This album featured a 24-page booklet with lyrics in English and with Japanese translations, as their music has gotten popular in Japan.
Their final album, Only Human, was released on July 29, 1998. All tracks were recorded at "The Shed" studio under Shed Productions. After this release, Kiss of Life disbanded.
