What were we doing when we unchained this earth from its sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving? Away from all suns? Are we not plunging continually? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions? Is there still any up or down? Are we not straying, as through an infinite nothing? Do we not feel the breath of empty space? Has it not become colder? Is not night continually closing in on us? Do we not need to light lanterns in the morning? Do we hear nothing as yet of the noise of the gravediggers who are burying God? Do we smell nothing as yet of the divine decomposition?

after relistening this around 2-3 times, ive noticed the producers didnt really put a lot of effort into different sounds, which makes the whole album coherent but doesnt allow most of the songs to have their own identity :( everything but gag on it and can we fuck is just.. really similar. i still really like it! it just feels like one huge song instead of an album ..

this works better as a "listen to the album in one sitting" but slut pop works better in a lot playlist on shuffle

The first one was something special: exciting throwbacks to the likes of Benny Benassi, Michael Gray, etc. While this has its moments, a majority of it sounds like half-baked throwaways that Dr. Luke didn't put on the last one and quarter-hearted vocals from a dilapidated, phoned-in Kim. It's FAR from being the worst EDM I've ever heard, but its mediocrity proves that lightning doesn't always strike twice.

At least in terms of sound (not as much in subject matter haha), I think the first one has more variety... but then again, I could be a bit biased, since I'm a little more familiar with house music than Miami bass (or whatever styles this album tried to go for). Frankly, I haven't listened to anything on this album since I made this comment, and I'm sure I'll listen to it again here and there, but I just remember ho-humming about halfway through it and forgetting everything I heard ten seconds after the album was finished.
