Kelly Rowland (born Kelendria Trene Rowland February 11, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia) was one of the founding members of super group "Destiny's Child" who went on to become the best selling female group of all time.
In 2002, Kelly released her debut album "Simply Deep". The album spawned 4 hit singles "Stole", "Can't Nobody", "Train On A Track", and of course "Dilemma". After both "Dilemma", and "Stole" went on to become two of the best selling singles of 2002, Kelly was officially recognised as a very talented solo star. "Simply Deep" has gone on to sell more then 3 Million Copies Worldwide.
After a four year absence, Kelly is now back with her sophomore album "Ms.Kelly". She has been working on this album for two years and has worked with famous producers, including Scott Storch and Tank. The first single from the album, "Like This" was released in May 2007, And Reached Top 10 In Numerous Countries Around The World, Including The UK & Ireland. Her Album Was Released Last Monday, & The Chart Position Will Be Announced On Sunday.
Kelly Rowland has announced she will be doing a worldwide tour to support the album with dates yet to be confirmed.
