Favourite Album: Human Beings
First song heard: Crazy
Song that made me fall in love: Kiss from a Rose
Favourite song: Kiss from a Rose
Well known for being soulful with beautiful songs. I love the deep tone in his voice and the passion and emotion that come out through his voice works wonders. Kiss From A Rose is my favourite song, but he's also got a lot of other great tracks as well.
Favourite Album: Stripped
First Song Heard: Genie in a Bottle
Song that made me fall in love: What a Girl Wants
Sometimes she can go over the top and overdo things, but Christina is still one of the best for me. Stripped is my favourite album from her because of the variety of styles she worked in for that album. She has a strong vocal range, and when she does it right it comes off as very raw and beautiful. Not only do I like her voice, but I like how each of her albums have a different theme.
3) Siobhan Donaghy
Favourite Album: Ghosts & Revolution in Me

25. There Is Love in You by Four Tet
Most likely after collaborating with dubstep pioneer Burial on their well-received EP last year, Kieran Hebden deviates further away from the glitchy folktronica with which he earned his name and for his fifth album as Four Tet heads for a heady urban soundscape that is in some instances bustling with nervous electronic activity and also provides warm respite in its more meditative moments. It is a humbly precise and intricately engineered delight that provides ceaseless enjoyment on various repeated listens, if only because there's so much harmonious buzz that you'll be hard-pressed to pick it all up on simply one listen.
14 May 2010, 23:31 by LionheartattackHey, folks! Nothing sort of miraculous this time (either). I'll just post some songs I really don't like. I can't say I "hate" any song. Some are just very boring or irritating to listen to and thus I wouldn't if I had the chance. Here's a bunch... I'll possibly add something to the list every now and then if something springs to my mind.
Komar & Melamid and Dave Soldier - The Most Unwanted Song
- They really did it for me. Research, science has intentionally made a ridiculously bad song. I find it hard to believe someone really, really, REALLY likes this, like some people state they do... They just state to like it because they want to be unique or I don't know...
Aphrodite's Child - ∞
- I don't even consider it as music. Also, it was supposed to be 39 minutes long, but the record company turned the idea down - for the sake of some serious mental health issues, I believe. -.- The album 666 overally is actually pretty good, though, in its own scary way... :D
Valvomo - Mikä Kesä
7 Oct 2008, 13:21 by BlackCoffeeDuckOn the 5th November 2005 Sarah Blasko was the RAGE guest programmer so I’m going to list it in this journal on last.fm. Sarah Blasko is my favourite female singer, along with PJ Harvey and Beth Gibbons, but Sarah is the only one who has guest programmed RAGE. I did a journal about Nick Cave (check my older journals for that) and he’s my favorite male singer along with Bob Dylan and Tom Waits but they haven’t done RAGE either. I’m going to do a journal about when Dirty Three were RAGE guest programmers, which is my favorite band. The Drones and Portishead are other favorite bands but once again neither have guest programmed RAGE. If some how I’ve missed these bands and they have done RAGE please let me know.
I’m going to link all the songs Sarah Blasko picked that night for easy to find. Maybe you should look the videos up on youtube if you wanted to see them because RAGE is a TV show if you don’t know. If you live overseas or on another planet…
13 Aug 2008, 12:21 by swwonder1. How did you get into 29?
(Michael Jackson) I don't think I had a choice, my mum played Dangerous all the time in the car. And then there's the fact that my brother had that video, I can't remember the name, but we watched that a lot when I was younger.
2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
I don't have a 22. I have three 21's though. So I'll do the second 21, which is Kelis. Um... First song. Caught Out There. Quality song.
3. How many albums by 13 do you own?
(Nelly Furtado) I think I own one, but I could be mistaken.
4. What is your favorite song by 15?
(Paolo Nutini) Last Request
5. What is your favorite song by 5?
(Mariah Carey) Hmm, Heartbreaker, probably.
6. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy?
(Christina Aguilera) I Turn to You. It's a proper mother/daughter/friendship song. So, whether she likes it or not, it reminds me of my mum.
7. What is your favorite song by 10?
(Lily Allen) I like her new song on MySpace, Who'd of Known.
