Keith Green exemplified how music can be used as a Ministry. Its too bad the christian recording industry no longer has anything to do with ministry and is just a sub-section of the larger greedy Recording Industry in America. It is very rare to encounter an artist who gives his whole life to the service of those around him. Reminds me of RIch Mullins.
Keith, I would like to thank you for reintroducing Yeshua to me, the month before you passed over! (April 1982 & I haven't left Him since!) PS Keith you and I are what we now call messianic jews! cool huh. I can't wait to praise Yeshua with you!
I can't listen to him praising and worshiping God without tears filling my eyes! oh God ! that i may have a heart like him to love you and fear you! oh beloved ones , you can see the difference and you know this is pure and clean worship! it is just amazing ! i dont know Heaven will be ....I want to be there! oh Lord Jesus!
Keith Green was perhaps the greatest Christian artist of our century. The Church needs more Keith Greens and less pseudo worship leaders who don't even read their Bibles regularly! Much less study them, and even less live them out in such a radical way as Keith Green did. His music is simply awesome and convicting, and his life is inspiring.
When I got saved in '85 my first christian album was I Only Want To See You There by Keith. His music spoke to my heart then, just as much as it does today. He was an incredibly annointed man. On a side note; I'm looking for the 1 hr radio tribute recorded in the late 80's after his death. I have it on casette somewhere but haven't been able to find it. Would love to buy or download it.
He was a musical prophet , before his time....ended to soon. Try reading the book.....looking forward to meting you on he other side..we have cried many tears together my friend...I will tell Wendy you said Hi-
I love his music. I was introduced to The Prodical Son Suite first and fell in love with the amazing piano. His music came in at a point in my life when I was renewing my faith and committment to God. My Eyes are Dry moved me, I Don't Wanna Fall Away From You and Love With Me are such beautiful songs. Dear John Letter crack me up too. I love his humour! :)
Excellent artist. I love his songs. Some of the best Christian Music I have heard, especially Create In Me A Clean Heart, beautiful song, I can't help but stop what I'm doing and just listen when I hear it.
