There are few artists named as "katarsis".
1 . KATARSIS is a metal band formed in 2002. And since then they have been interested in making lyrics with social content combined with the distortions and melodies characteristic of classic heavy metal.
2. Katarsis (Lithuanian for catharsis) is a Lithuanian alternative rock band. Consisting of Lukas Radzevičius (vocals, guitar), Emilija Kandratavičiūtė (also member of Kyla Vėjas!, bass), Alanas Brasas (also member of Kieno Mishke Kankorezhiai, lead guitar) and Jokūbas Andriulis (also member of Aklì and Plié, drums), they have relesead the debut EP, Dausos in 2024. The band is representing Lithuania with a track called Tavo akys in 2025 edition of Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.
Sometimes such name can be mixed up with another popular band from Germany, Katharsis, who create dark metal music since 1994.
