Junko Fujiyama is a Japanese singer/songwriter who performs all over the United States.
She has worked with several bands( Fujiyama Roll etc.) as the lead singer and has also become a solo performer.

She has performed at many cultural events, benefits, music festivals, nightclubs, and anime conventions, such as IKKiCON, Ichibancon, Ohayocon, Tsubasacon, Japan Fest Atlanta, National Cherry Blossom Festival, International Festival of Raleigh, Troika Music Festival, Carrboro Music Festival, Taste of Durham Festival, Meredith College, University of North Carolina, Duke University, Cat's Cradle, Motorco Music Hall, Pour House, The Broad Street Cafe, The Cave, Local 506, Casbah, Pinhook, Kings Barcade, Sadlack's, etc.

She started piano when she was five. She also sang in a chorus when she was a child and learned how to sing in many different genres like pop, rock, children's songs, and even Enka (Japanese traditional folk).

Chris Parker from INDY WEEK described her vocals as follows "Frontwoman Junko's vocals range acrobatically from squealing highs to gruff muscularity."

JUNKO’s original songs can be described as J-rock and J-pop blended together. They are powerful, delicate, intricate and intriguing. She also covers J-pop/rock and anime themed songs, adding some American pop flavor to make them even sweeter!

JUNKO wrote an opening theme song for an online game "Backstage Pass" by Sake Visual.
