Juha Jyrkäs has played within many bands since the end of the 90's: VMMA (punk metal), SahtiWaari (humoric folk metal), Poropetra (ethnic rock), Alku (tribal ethnic) etc. He also writes lyrics to ethnic metal bands Korpiklaani and Auringon hauta. His instrument is 15-stringed electric kantele. He also uses Tuvinian throat-singing in his songs.
