“In Repair” is the eleventh track on Continuum. The song is about emotional recovery, making reference to the “shadows” and “corners” of a restless mind that prevent Mayer from being his usual self. It was cowritten with singer-songwriter Charlie Hunter, making it one of only two collaboratively written tracks on the album. It also notably features James Valentine, lead guitarist for Maroon 5 and a friend of Mayer courtesy of their shared time at Berkeley College.
