Jodie Connor (born May 8, 1981) is an English singer-song writer originally from Oldham, Greater Manchester. According to the Now Or Never Songfacts, she appeared in 2003 as a contestant on the second series of the hit British television show Pop Idol. She made it to the final fifty of the competition, earning her the chance to perform live to the nation, but failed to finish in the top two in her group and was finally eliminated in the wildcard round.
Connor returned to the public eye in 2010 after appearing as a guest vocalist on Roll Deep's UK number 1 single "Good Times". Connor was later signed by Polydor Records and released her debut solo single "Now or Never" on 16 January 2011, with an album expected later in 2011.
