Jim Lillquist of the Gypsy Guerilla Band plays a fast and furious hammered dulcimer accompanied by other traditional instruments like fiddle and bodhran (Irish drum) on both traditional and unexpected tunes. For about the last 20 years they have played at what used to be known as King Richard's Faire, a renaissance fair in southern Wisconsin, as well as the Texas RenFaire and others, they seem to still be still going strong. They have a very unique sound, with both folk and celtic influences, and will appeal to fans of celtic music as well as bluegrass sounds.
