Biography

Jeffrey B. Scott has been around Christian music, and most specifically, Christian Worship music, for more than 20 years now.
After attending Palm Beach Atlantic College, West Palm Beach, FL, for two years and playing in a local band named Disciple, Scott moved on to Miami-based Christian band, Cross Reference. In both of these bands, Scott honed his keyboard, guitar and vocal skills, while offering significant songwriting contributions as well. After life changes in Cross Reference forced a sabatical, Scott made his solo career debut with an ambitious 2-hour concert at a local Christian music club, Studio777 in Coral Springs, FL to a packed and eager house.
Through the influence of several friends, including mentor Ron Sylvia, Scott's pastor at the time, he began to travel and lead worship for church youth gatherings around the country. In 1994, Scott moved to Atlanta, GA, where he ultimately began working with Louie Giglio (founder of the Passion (268generation.com) movement among college students, founder of sixstepsrecords, home of David Crowder* Band, Chris Tomlin, Charlie Hall and Matt Redman) leading worship for a bible study called 7:22(722.org). This led to his involvement in the first Passion Band and several subsequent recordings. Included on the first record were two songs written by Scott, "I Will Exalt Your Name" and "Your Name Is Above All Names", the former of which garnered Scott his first RIAA-certified Gold Record for its inclusion in a compilation.
Scott now lives with his wife and 3 children in Roseville, CA, where he leads worship full-time at Bayside Church of Granite Bay with guitar great and fellow Worship Pastor, Lincoln Brewster.
