If the name isn't familiar, check the credits on a few of your albums: as guitarist and producer, Elkington has plyed a key role on records by Richard Thompson, Jeff Tweedy and Steve Gunn. The Chicago-based Brit is a fine singer-songwriter too, as on this motorik folk-rock gem from his second solo album: like Pentangle covering The Byrds' Tribal Gathering.
