Jairus was an indie/post-hardcore band from Kent, UK. Formed in October 2001 by guitarist Dan Lucas and vocalist Adam Bray. Between October 2001 and December 2002 Jairus toured throughout the UK, gaining a large fanbase in a very short period of time, and were consequently signed to UK hardcore label Skipworth Records, who released their debut album The Need To Change The Mapmaker in 2004.
