Afrofuturism is taken from the Black panther movement of the same name which is used to describe the afro fantasy/non fiction route. The story of Afrofuturism is that a spirit that was given the name Joel abducts Afro-Canadian Artist JHNN. This spirit was sent from outerspace from a planet unknown centuries away. The original plan was to save music in 1983 but because of a miscalculation costing a 20 year delay; part of the reason why this album has a retro feel to it.
