Biography
Ismen is a Swedish Hip-Hop duo consisting of Johan "Sober" Alander (born 11 june 1987) and Mikael "Mickelito/MAJK" Jutbo (born 1 april 1987).
They are members of the group Gorillismen that was a combination of Gorilli (duo consisting of Mickelito & Callecuttar) and Sober together with Matts Barrett.
They are also part of the Hip-Hop super group/collective Laxmacka Crew (alongside Mofeta & Jerre, Cleo, Den Som E Den, Gorillala and Xeilon aka Alex Norén/Yxmödarn).
Xeilon was part of Ismen for a short while and produced their album Inget kan bli skönt nog before he went on producing for other artists.
Ismen stands for "I-don’t-give-a-fuck-ismen". Johan and Majk are saying that their first tracks and texts were mostly provoking and pushing the norms. They wanted to take freedom of speech to a whole new level, as they describe it themselves.
