A lively and joyful (nandi – ‘joy’ in Sanskrit) composition, based on the rhythm of rumba and the pentatonic Indian Bhopali raga. It owes its jazzing character to our special guest – pianist Leszek Możdżer. This composition shows that flamenco and the Indian music are also a perfect improvisation theme, and the joy referred to in the title is an emotion which always accompanies musicians during concerts. Another special guest is Paquito González, a distinguished percussionist, well known in the flamenco world for his cooperation with Vicente Amigo or for his appearance on the latest album of the late Paco de Lucia.
Miguel Czachowski – flamenco guitar
Avaneendra Sheolikar – sitar
Leszek Możdżer – piano
Sandesh Popatkar – tabla
Paquito González – cajón, shakers
Maciej Garbowski – double bass
