Illnigma was born on april 18th 1986, in the city of Hartford, Connecticut. Illnigma was the product of a single parent household who found refuge in the streets, due to the lack of support and guidance of a father. As a juvenile, Illnigma incurred an extensive list of criminal charges and spent several months in juvenile detention centers throughout the Hartford area. After being arrested as an adult, Illnigma realized that this way of life was not the best approach into adulthood. Throughout his trials and tribulations of life in the streets, Illnigma always had the skill to express himself through rhyme and metaphor. At the age of 12, Illnigma began to compete in rap competitions, but continuously found him self in trouble before he could finish the competition. Illnigma finally came to the realization that he had a gift at rap. At 21 Illnigma met Tony B, aka Pream, who launched a management company called Break Bread Management and was in search of a local talented artist that he could mold into a star. Pream placed Illnigma in front of several rappers and witnessed Illnigma's consistent increase of knowledge with his word play. At the time Illnigma called him self "Enigma", but due to other artists with that name illnigma decided to change his name to "Illnigma". Throughout the development of "Illnigma" he has accomplished tasks such as writing and recording his own songs as well as recording a song with now signed Epic Records artist Kat De Luna “Baila”. Illnigma has become an outstanding song writer and rapper as well. Illnigma’s incredible ability to change is his rap style enables him to stand out above the rest. Illnigma is currently featured on and has received great reviews for his single "Come On". Illnigma is set to release his newest Club Single, “want me for my dough” this november and can be purchased on and iTunes.
