The New Ep.... wow ... it's really nice atmospheric stuff. Sounds like demos from The Moon Rang

Communicating is actually really good. The beat programming is interesting, the piano playing is beautiful, and the vocal melodies are complex but pleasing—almost a little like Joni Mitchell in that respect. Really sophisticated stuff, and only "pop" insofar as Pet Sounds or Purple Rain are "pop." The album's a big improvement on the Currency EP. So mea culpa, I guess.

just came back to Hundred Waters' stuff after a few years away, and I'm interested to check out Communicating properly; never really gave it a proper shake when it didn't hold up to tmrlab.

naw, nevermind this album is still complete saccharine piss-flavoured dogshit.

So that’s the formula now, huh? Get rid of all the mystery and space and magic and texture and harmonic variety and just go straight-up pop? Purity Ring, Braids, and countless others have gone down this road. Now, with this new EP, Hundred Waters have joined them. Only “Everywhere” captures a bit of the old magic.

I actually think Communicating is their strongest album yet. It's euphoric and moving. I don't think it's straight pop at allllll. Listen again maybe?

I saw these guys play in a tiny basement venue to no more than 30 people, they could've been playing to an audience of 3,000 such was the level of passion and enthusiasm they displayed. Top band

The Moon Rang Like a Bell is a new animal. It's completely irreverent and throws traditional style and structure out the window. Beautiful instrumentation and high-art percussion.

should of stuck with my first guess, 6,000, and i think thats fair, because the album was underwhelming, after seeing them live twice and the first album maybe a slight bit better than this one, i love the new one though. However, If you ever get a chance to see this band live you get a whole different experience, you'll get to hear the songs you love, but their chemistry makes it one of the greatest live experiences I've ever experienced. I hope they can keep this pace up
