Trade winds are at the doorstep hoist up your hosiery, fall down crawl up together push this mattress out to sea. Grappled by the epaulettes these are the new rough dance steps, I slipped fell down the stairs in the club where were first met i saw a shipwreck!
I think it sounds like a shit version of the start of Jessica by the Alman Brothers too. We love Archers of Loaf and a bunch of other bands and probably reference/influence/copy tons of stuff by tons of people. Some inadvertently, some because we go... wouldn't it be cool if it did that like in that song.
I don't know if it was intentional or not-- and I'll feel like a dolt if this has been discussed before-- but "Noses Blazing" follows almost the exact same everything as "Web in Front" by Archers of Loaf. What's with this? They're both rad songs, so I don't really care. But you know...
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but "Fuck You, The Truth" is almost the exact same song as "The Squirrel Song" by "Shellac". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSNDrYwptzo I'm not saying they stole it, but I would more count it as sort of hommage. As english is not my native tongue, I'd love to really get, what this song is about :)
Kieran, why don't you just buy them rather than coming on our profile and asking people to send them to you for nothing. You may like our band but you're really not helping us make records by stealing music from us. We don't exactly make money from this, it's difficult enough as it is to afford to tour/record.
