absolutely legendary. I think modern crust punk stems from these bastards, not Tragedy or anyone else. there were bands before and after them but none come close to His Hero Is Gone when it comes to crust. they still sound relevant today, almost 20 years after their disbandment. aged well and whatnot.
I like Tragedy and all, but come on...HHIG was way ahead of its time, that shit sends chills down my spine every time I listen to them. HHIG incorporated all the great elements of sludge and crust without making it repetetive or boring.
