Hi-Fi Drowning formed in Dallas, Texas in 1996. The original lineup consisted of Eric Martin (vocals, guitars), Jeremy Eggert (guitars, keys, color), Jon Eggert (bass), and Carlos Jackson (percussion). They recorded a self-titled debut in Dallas (1996) and later went on to record Narci Darvish (1998) with esteemed producer Keith Cleversley (Flaming Lips, Hum, Mercury Rev) at the Playground in Chicago. For their third album, Carlos was replaced with drummer Taylor Young (Neon Girl, Young James Long, Polyphonic Spree) to record Rounds the Rosa (2000). HFD performed their last show … read more
