a new "Domicile" sounds so "Moiety" at the beginning...but the new one are more minimalistic. i know, that Keith is trying to create some other music and new things because every musician want to grow up and develope, but i think that he was imaginated the 12k music and tryed to catch their mood, especially sound of Shuttle358, it's so close to Dan Abrams style. Anyway, Keith puts out a beautiful ambient album for asleep. Need to relisten a couple of times for full experience. my favorite tracks is "Penumbra" and "Domain" at the first listen.

Sounds and textures are defo simpler in this album, but unlike some reviewers I don't think this is due to lack of creativity, it's written this way on purpose. Although I enjoy drone ambient, I'll admit it's more a passive than an active listening to me. Much like Stars of The Lid, The Dead Texan etc.

Veriditas is another strong album from Keith. Maybe it's just me, but I've seen Helios getting flack in some online circles over the years. I don't know why, but I suspect it's partially becuase of ((that)) p4k review of Eingya, and people tagging his music as post-rock (his music has never struck me as anything like the post-rock that I know of?) or dismissing it because it's likely some of the first ambient-leaning music they've listened to and they're just not into that. Anyway, his music is completely wonderful and a great entry point to this kind of thing if you can vibe to it.

Helios' music is like no other that I know. The feelings of listening to it are absolutely magical and serene, like feelings I've never felt from any other music before. It's completely lush and comforting, like a musical warm blanket being wrapped around you. I cannot even begin to describe just how much this music relaxes me and leaves me feeling. It helps me through stressful and harsh times, and it reflects memories and feelings that often feel nostalgic or romantic. It distracts my mind from most bad feelings and somehow helps me drift into daydreams. Thank you, Helios, for this wonderful music. ^^

Just listening to the toy garden, helios makes me feel happy, like a weight is lifted off of my heart, if only for but a moment's notice. Full of whisper winds and nostalgic memories, my face is lifted out of a cloud of gloom into wonderland.
