Hatcham Social comprise of members - Finnigan Kidd on Drums and singing. Toby Kidd on most singing and Guitar. Riley Difford on Bass and some singing. David Claxton on Guitar.
The band are currently getting ready to go and record the second full length Hatcham Social Album in the hills of Wales. Album should be ready for release early 2011.
“You Dig The Tunnel, I'll Hide The Soil” The bands debut Long Player was released in 2009. Out in UK on Independent legends Fierce Panda and in the US with the new TBD label also home to Radiohead.
The debut album received 10 out of 10 in Vice Magazine, 8 out of ten in NME and Album of the month in Artrocker. It also came in the top many of the top 20 albums of the year in music magazines for 2009 and the Single Crocodile from the album was Single of the year 2009 in Artrocker Magazine.
“Party!” Ep came out as a free christmas gift in December 2008, a collection of very quick lo-fi covers by the band. Included songs by people such as Lou Reed, Pavement and Jesus and Mary Chain.
“Found In The Woods” Part one and two. Tape 6 track Mini-album's comprising of self recorded songs by the band (recorded all on analogue tape machines) was released on the then bass-player David Finebergs label PopGrooves in 2007.
“So So Happy Making” 7 Inch Single. 2008. First major label release.
“Til the Dawn/Penelope (under my hat)” 7 inch single only. 2008.
“How Soon Was Then” Very LTD Hand Printed sleeve, 7 inch single. 2006.
“Dance As If…” Hatcham Social's very lo-fi first single. 2006.
