Best music ever: L'Heptade! Could any kind soul point me to one of those bootlegs mentioned here? I do have the CHOM-FM radio session but was never lucky to find a live recording (unissued) from 1974-1978 when the split up. Oh, and Serge Fioris brand new album seems to be very very good...the first two tracks released are brilliant!

Harmonium - Si on avait besoin d'une cinquième saison (1975) - The masterpiece here is the 17-minute suite entitled "Histoires Sans Paroles". The epic starts off with one of the most beautiful flute, mellotron, acoustic guitar themes ever recorded, followed by countless beautiful themes for the remaining 15-minutes. -.-.-.-. om hari om .....

@Dentark: Acoustic Asturias, Spirogyra, Aranis, Art Zoyd, Salle Gaveu, Univers Zero, just to name some, but the latter four are more avant-prog than symphonic prog.

@ Dentark; 'Alan Sorrenti' 1972 album 'Aria' is a great italian progressive/psychedelic folk album which beside some occasional Hammond and Mellotron is mainly played acoustic. It is however a different breed of music than 'Harmonium' and contains some of the most weird (but beautiful) singing! A personal favourite of mine.
