Allen Herndon is an American poet and songwriter who records under the name HERNDON.
Herndon's original compositions are an idiosyncratic blend of folk, vaudeville, trad jazz, primal blues, skiffle, gospel, electronica, garage rock, doo-wop, and classical avant-garde music combined with literary influences ranging from Romanticism and Symbolism to Beat Poetry and Bible Stories.
