With natural chemistry, limitless potential and a mature sound well beyond their years, Ghost of a Stranger is poised to get their polished, authentic sound out to the masses. Composed of Peter Torrey (vocals/guitar), Adam Korbesmeyer (Guitar/Synth),Greg Gebhard (Bass) and Josh Martin (Drums), Ghost of A Stranger has spent the past four months gearing up to release their first full length debut on Connecticut based Veggie Co. Records, entitled Hers and Yours.

Ghost of a Stranger began as a project of Torrey's, after seeing the production talents and innovative ideas of Korbesmeyer, he and Gebhard joined together to round off Ghost's initial line-up. The addition of Martin on drums has allowed Ghost of a Stranger to reinvent their style to incorporate more aggression into their music and highlight Torrey's uniquely transcendent vibrato.

After being mentioned on The Daily Chorus website, executives from Veggie Co. contacted Ghost of a Stranger and a strong bond was immediately formed. Signing to Veggie Co. has allowed Ghost to get Hers and Yours professionally tracked, mixed and mastered. In addition, Glenn from Synapse Design put together the art for Hers and Yours. In hopes of opening people up to their unique sound and intricate song-crafting, Ghost released "Hers and Yours" which features the single "You Alone" on April 29th, 2008. The album is now available at shows, Veggiecorecords.com and digitally on iTunes, Amazon.com and Napster.

With a sound that many have compared to The Killers and influences that range from Bloc Party and Muse to Radiohead and Tokyo Police Club, Ghost of a Stranger has recently performed with countless indie-rock bands also looking to make their mark along the east coast, including The Dear Hunter and The Appreciation Post out of Boston, MA. This summer Ghost of a Stranger embarked on a month long tour that started at Harbor Fest in Oswego, NY, and continued throughout the northeast and Midwest and found the band ending their tour close to home in Buffalo, NY.

With the music scene rapidly flourishing in Fredonia, NY Ghost of a Stranger has already established themselves as a vibrant force with a more than memorable live show. Between their high energy performance and spot-on instrumental tightness, Ghost of a Stranger continuously strives to put on a show that will leave audiences blogging for more.
