On February 14, 2011 Geva Alon played to an enthusiastic packed house at Adas Israel Synagogue in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He was in top form and delighted both the loyal fan base and those, like myself, who were hearing him for the first time. His CDs were on sale and most left with at least one to remember the evening's program. Using only his unique and beautifully-toned Harptone acoustic, pedal tambourine and Fx rack, he kept the room entranced with his faultless and skillful guitar technique and wide-ranged, clear voice. Many thanks to all sponsors and organizers who pulled off a great evening event and brought in some world-class talent. I predict that Gevan's career will continue to prosper and his creativity will constantly bring new material to light that will delight his supporters.
