Gerritsen en Van Dijk was a one-off duo project of two Dutch prominent rock musicians: Rinus Gerritsen (1946), bass player of Holland's main export in rock, Golden Earring, and Michel van Dijk (1950), who as a singer had stints in Les Baroques, Ekseption, Brainbox and Alquin.
The duo recorded one album, simply called Gerritsen en Van Dijk (1979), to good reviews but very little commercial success.
The album was released in North America under the phonetically 'Americanized' title Garrison & Van Dyke.
