meeeeh. ya-ma-kay is allright but i need a GALACTIC ALBUM. too much hip hoppity sounds for my liking and there were a couple of songs that really lacked that Galactic feel and sounded like they came of the mainstream charts. this is my first verdict after two listenings. I still haven't completly decided if I like it. Ruckus was my all time favorite. They can never top off Ruckus.
Going back to it a couple days ago, Corner to the Block is very good in its own right, all the way through the album. And really, they're both very different albums, as they both are from Ruckus and Mongoose and so on. Can't really judge any of them against the others because of that. But live, they can play any or all or none of those songs and nobody would know the difference, it would all just simply be Galactic. Which is just another part of why they're so great!
