12 Sep 2008, 12:57 by Cassius_KI've just got a big revelation!
Do you remember the Theme Song of Matt Groening's Futurama series?
Well, it was written by Christopher Tyng and is it's based on the song Psyché Rock composed by Pierre Henry during his collaboration with Pierre Shaeffer in 1967.
This song claimed to be a concrete reinterpretation of Louie Louie by The Kingsmen.
In 1949, Schaeffer met Pierre Henry. In 1951, he founded the Groupe de Recherche de Musique Concrète (GRMC) in the French Radio Institution. This gave him a new studio, which included a tape recorder. This was a significant development for Schaeffer, who previously had to work with turntables to produce music. Schaeffer is generally acknowledged as being the first composer to make music using magnetic tape.
There's also a Fat Boy Slim remix of this song: Psyché Rock (Fatboy Slim Remix).

6 Feb 2007, 16:10 by domlolzWhile perusing the televisional my brother asked if he could watch Family Guy.
Me and Family Guy don't get on.I can't watch it for more than 5 minutes before I either a)scream and run away b)use household objects to launch towards the TV in attempt to make the unfunny stop,oh please, just stop.
Back to my brother asking to view this shitfest.I protest and declare that Family Guy should be banned from the televisions in the house for crimes against the lolz.
My brother said that he'd watched some episodes round a friends house and found them quite amusing.
Shocked I began an inner-monologue:
My brother usually has a decent sense of humour,so maybe I should give Family Guy a chance if my brother had found some of it funny.Did I jump the gun in hating it outright after only watching a few minutes of some older episodes?!
I caved and let him watch just one episode.
In between the monotoned-ramblings of Peter Griffin, non-stop fucking 80's flashbacks and non-sequiturs to end all non-sequiturs…
