Frágil is a Peruvian progressive rock band founded in August 1976 in the city of Lima. It is considered one of the most important groups of Peruvian rock due to its transcendence and musical quality.
Its name comes from "Fragile", an album of the British group Yes. It was the first massive group of its time, in spite of which its progressive style was own of the decade of the seventy. They recorded in 1980 the first video clip made in Peru: Larco Avenue, its most emblematic song. Avenida Larco was Fragile's first album. It was edited in 1980 by the Peruvian record company Delta Discos S.A. In 1980, the song Avenida Larco had a video clip that would be the first to be recorded in Peru. Currently the album is considered one of the most important in the history of Peruvian rock.
