‘Rotating Angle’ is the first Forest Management album that was sourced completely on a physical synthesizer. Using the Yamaha DX-7, initial recordings were made and were later cut up, mixed, and stretched out on a laptop. Recording and mixing took place mostly at home in Chicago, and on a bus home from Ann Arbor in July of 2016 - an album made through insecurity and infatuation.
