1) A melodic punk rock band from the UK. They released 3 demos between 1988 and 1990 as well as one 7" EP entitled "Corrupt Mind".
2)Flame On is a Copenhagen, Denmark based punk rock band originally formed while the members attended the same highschool in Nykøbing Falster, on the island of Falster in 1996. The original lineup consisted of Henrik Ohlsen on drums and vocals, John Kenn Mortensen on bass, Jan Sørensen on guitar and Tobias Munk Åkesson on guitar.
After the recording of a self titled 4 track demo EP, Jan Sørensen left the band and was replaced by long time friend of the band, Kristian Kimer
With Kristian Kimer on board the band had two songwriters (Tobias Munk Åkesson beeing the other major contributor) and alot of new material was produced. The best of this eventually ended up on the 7 track EP "Home is where the heart is" (The title refferring to their common island origin). With this lineup, Flame On played more shows in a year than they had done in the previous 4 together.
By the summer of 2002 John Kenn Mortensen left the band to focus on his career as an animator, and Emil Kozak from Maribo, Lolland took over on bass, and Flame On began the recording of a full length album. The band wanted to do everything themselves and to do it practically cost-free. Progress was slow and in the middle of recording drums, Kristian Kimer decided to leave Flame On.
Flame On changed things up and took on Tobias' (younger) brother Jeppe Munk Åkesson as a new drummer, so Henrik could focus on vocals. Emil switched to guitar and Charlie Andersen took over on bass. The band finished the album 'Overkill' and after a mini Germany tour and DK tour Emil left the band in late 2004.
In 2005 Flame On went on to play in Qaqortoq Greenland and a couple of shows, with Alias Caylon in Copenhagen and Århus.
In 2015 the band played their first show in 10 years, at Loke's Kælder in Roskilde.
